		<description><![CDATA[I read the prospectus for Musician Corps. and it sounds interesting.    But if the corp becomes a reality and we begin to build it into music ed. curricula as an option upon graduation, I think we should at the same time build in equal amounts of business classes for future grads.   

The current state of our profession is unhealthy.  We are training future music educators for jobs that rank low on the pay totem pole, and an overall market that is dwindling.   How sad it would be to offer up a new option that is essentially volunteerism without at the same time teaching future music educators to be business people within their communities.  Let&#039;s help elevate the profession to such a degree that music educators will have the financial means to volunteer on their own.]]></description>
